Elson Volley was formed 30 years ago after a visit to Australia by USA guru coach, John Kessel. During John’s coaching sessions in Australia, he recommended improving kids’ volleyball by buying better coaching aids and better quality equipment for the players.
Harley Simpson and David Eldridge continually tried to get Australian sports stores to stock this higher quality equipment but were told that volleyball was too small a market and that importing volleyball equipment was not worth their time.
That is why Elson Volley was formed. It was formed by volleyball coaches for volleyballers.
At Elson Volley, we do not have the biggest range because we try and test all the gear we sell, and we do not stock any products that we ourselves would not use.
Consequently, when you order from us we will have the product in stock and we will not waste your time talking you into a different product. The gear we sell is the best and it is usually the gear endorsed by the Australian Volleyball Federation and your own State volleyball associations.
We are the biggest sellers of Mikasa volleyballs in Australia.
